BES Holds "Araw ng Pagbasa"

        DepEd declared the month of November as National Reading Month and November 25 as the Nationwide "Araw ng Pagbasa" in which BES actively participated and held different activities in support of the Ten-Point Basic Education Agenda of the Aquino Administration and the institutionalization of the "Every Child a Reader" Program.
The following activities were: Read-A-Thon, Big Brother/Big Sister/Shared Reading and Reading Camp. The activities also coincided with the week of the celebration of the birth anniversary of the late senator Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino on November 27, 2011 and Commemoration of the 20th year of the signing of R.A. 7165 by former Pres. Corazon C. Aquino, creating the Literary Coordinating Council.

First Leap... A Success!

       Bago Elementary School, Talomo District, successfully launched its first Book Character Parade of Costumes last November 29, 2011 at 3:00 in the afternoon at Bago Elementary School covered court with sixty-seven (67) pupil participants and a few teachers, as well as the principal in their respective chosen story character costumes.

                                                                        Parents actively supported their children by providing them with costumes. Creativeness and uniqueness of costumes highlighted the event. In Mrs. Eleanor G. Deximo, the school principal's welcome address, she made mentioned of encouraging our school children to continue reading books.
